Self Raising Flour

Easy to make self raising flour. You may be asking yourself what is self-raising flour.

Self-raising flour is flour that already contains leavening agent and salt. This just helps you to eliminate a step when measuring your ingredients.

Since self-raising flour contains leavening agent you want to switch it out every 6 months or so. Of course you can also make your own very easily.

Ingredients:

Large: – makes 1450g

1400g (10 cups) All purpose flour

75ml (5 table spoons)Baking powder

25ml (5 teaspoons) Salt

 

Medium: makes 750g

700g (5 cups) All purpose flour

75ml (2  table spoons + 1 Tsp. + 1/2 Tsp )Baking powder

12.5ml (2 1/2  teaspoons) Salt
