Our camp runs from 9:00 – 13:00 or from 2:00 – 4:30. Our location is not of such a nature that we can include filler camp activities like swimming or ball games. We are 100% focused on providing the best hands on culinary camp experience in the Canada.
We do not provide formal summer camp aftercare. If you need earlier drop off or pick up let us know. We have a comfortable lounge area where kids can hang out until they are being picked up from camp.
Please bring a Nut Free snack and water bottle to summer camp.
Please wear comfortable clothing. Long hair must be tied up. Bring your own apron or you can purchase a Jeanette’s Cakes apron. For food safety and health reasons we need to keep our facility clean, please bring indoor shoes.
We are able to accommodate up to 16 participants in our summer camp sessions. On some activities kids will work in pairs. Kids also love working together as it helps shyer kids to make friends.
We provide boxes and containers for our students to take what they have made home during their summer camp session.
We would love to make our summer camps cheaper, but we have many expenses and working with food is not cheap. Our running costs are ongoing and include costs like, rent, hydro, gas, marketing, accounting, purchasing, expensive equipment, ingredient costs, research and developement to mention only a few. We do however hope that you will see the value in what your children will learn during our summer camps. We teach life skills and a love for cooking, baking and the culinary arts.
Refunds (minus a $35.00 processing fee) will only be given up to 6 weeks before the start date of the camp. No refunds will be given once a camp has started. Camps may be cancelled due to insufficient registrations, in which case they will be fully refunded.
