Jeanette’s Cakes was originally founded by Jeanette Bugler, whose passion for cake artistry and commitment to quality helped establish the bakery as a trusted name in Oakville and surrounding communities. Her recipes, standards, and dedication to craftsmanship continue to be an important part of the studio today. As the business has evolved over the years, preserving that reputation for quality and personal service has remained at the heart of everything we do.
GIULIANA
A New Chapter Led by Giuliana Sam
Originally from Lima, Peru, Giuliana Sam first discovered Jeanette’s Cakes not as an owner, but as a student attending cake decorating classes. What began as a creative outlet soon became a deeper passion. Giuliana later joined the studio team, hosting decorating parties while expanding her skills in baking and cake design. Over time, her connection
to the studio continued to grow, eventually leading her to take the next step in carrying the brand forward.
Today, Giuliana leads Jeanette’s Cakes with a unique blend of hospitality experience, creativity, professionalism, and warmth. Her background in customer service and operations management shaped her belief that exceptional products should always be paired with exceptional experiences.
Committed to continually refining her craft, Giuliana also completed formal industry training at George
Brown College in Baking Arts and Pastry Techniques, further strengthening the studio’s commitment to
both artistry and technical excellence. Under her leadership, the studio continues to evolve while staying true to the quality and reputation that
longtime customers have come to know and trust.

Our Philosophy
We believe premium desserts should offer more than beautiful presentation. Every cake, dessert, and baked good is created with carefully selected ingredients, including real butter, Belgian chocolate, fresh fruit, high-quality dairy, fresh eggs, and handcrafted fillings made in-house. Rather than relying on overly processed or excessively sweet products, we focus on balanced flavors, refined finishes, and desserts that feel both indulgent and thoughtfully crafted. Alongside longtime customer favorites, Giuliana has also introduced subtle Latin American influences inspired by her Peruvian roots, including specialties such as alfajores and tres leches cake, adding even more variety to the studio’s evolving menu. Whether clients arrive with a fully developed vision or simply a spark of inspiration, we enjoy collaborating closely to create desserts that feel personal, memorable, and beautifully executed. Jeanette’s Cakes is also proud to offer a nut- and peanut-free environment, helping more families celebrate with confidence and peace of mind.
