Meet Giuliana Sam
Giuliana Sam first discovered Jeanette’s Cakes not as an owner, but as a student attending cake decorating classes.
Originally from Lima, Peru, Giuliana joined the studio team after discovering her passion for baking and cake design. She began hosting decorating parties while continuing to develop her skills and experience in the kitchen.
Today, Giuliana leads Jeanette’s Cakes with a combination of creativity, hospitality and technical training. She completed formal training in Baking Arts and Pastry Techniques at George Brown College, strengthening her knowledge of both baking and pastry.
For Giuliana, one of the most rewarding parts of the business is seeing families return to Jeanette’s Cakes and knowing that the cakes and experiences created at the studio have become part of their traditions.
The Story Behind Jeanette’s Cakes
Jeanette’s Cakes was originally founded by Jeanette Bugler, whose passion for cake artistry and dedication to quality helped build the bakery’s reputation in Oakville and the surrounding communities.
As Giuliana became part of the studio, she learned not only the craft of baking and cake decorating, but also the importance of the standards and personal service that had defined Jeanette’s Cakes from the beginning.
Today, the business continues to build on those foundations while evolving with Giuliana’s own creativity, experience and perspective.

Every cake, dessert and baked good begins with carefully selected ingredients, including real butter, Belgian chocolate, fresh fruit, quality dairy and fresh eggs. Many of our fillings are handcrafted in-house.
We focus on balanced flavours, refined finishes and desserts that feel indulgent without relying on overly processed or excessively sweet products.
