Custom Cakes are more than just the price you pay. It’s about art, a taste that higtens your senses and the antisipation of what the cake will look like.

A custom cake is a gift, because it is a memory that will last for a life time.  When I think of the cakes I have made for my own children, I know that they can remember each and every one of them and for which birthday each particular cake was. If I had to ask them if they can remember the gifts they received, they can barely remember what they received last year.

The decision making starts weeks before the party and often they change their mind along the way, but the fun is deciding on the cake and the anticipation of what it will look like and the best part is sharing it with their friends and family.

Most people believe that the closest experience we can share with other human beings is physical touch. Not so according to research! The closest bonding experience that a humanbeing can have is the sharing of food……

Yes, it does seem expensive to spend $200.00 on a birthday cake or $1500.00 on a Wedding Cake, but it is more than a combination of ingredients. It is “Edible Art”! It is an Experience! It is a Feeling! And above all a Memory of a life time!

Custom Cakes

Generally a custom cakes are priced per person.

At Jeanette’s Cakes our basic price is $4.50 pp  That would mean a cake for 100 guests would cost $450.00.  Fortunately cakes are tax exempt.

When it comes to a sculpted cakes the price depends on the time spent creating the cake and not the size.

Unfortunately we can not offer tastings and consultaions on small orders, but we are always happy to provide ideas and give advice over the phone or via  e mail.

Standard Cakes

To serve our customers who still want a great tasting cake but have a limited budget we have designed some cakes that are less time consuming to make, look good and have every bit of the great taste you would expect from a custom cake.

On our web site you will often read about the quality of ingredients. This is because it makes such a difference in the taste and we are also concerned about the health aspect.

Full Sheet Cake 16″ x 24″, $160.00 / $185 with medley of berries on top  Serves 96 when serving  are cut into  2″ x 2″ slices

1/2 Sheet Cake  12″ x 18″$120.00 /  $140 decorated with  medley of berries on top  Serves about 54 when servings are cut into 2″ x 2″ cake slices

14″ x 14″ $120.00/  $140.00 with medley of Berries. Serves 49 when servings are cut into 2″ x 2″ cake slice
