Cake decorating parties

We offer  2 hour and  3 hour Cake Decorating Parties for children ages 4 and up at our Kitchen-Studio in Oakville.  We also offer Cake Decorating Parties and Lessons for Teenagers and Adults. Cake designs depend on the package purchased. Some cake designs are suitable only for older children with more developed fine motor skills.

The cakes we supply for our parties are made with the same top quality ingredients that we use for our wedding cakes and birthday cakes. Our young cake decorators are guided by experienced cake decorators and use professional cake decorating equipment to complete their masterpieces.  For our 3-hour parties, the children will have the opportunity to use an airbrush to add finishing touches to their cakes.  Each child takes their cake or cup cakes home in a bakery box, so there is no need to buy party favours.

Cup cake decorating package - for children age 7 and up

$350.00  - for up to 8 kids

$20.00 for each additional child to a maximum of 12 children

• Party duration is 2 hours
• Each child receives 6 cup cakes to decorate as they wish - guidance is provided. The decorations and cup cake design is determined by the age of the children.
• We offer a choice of Pizza or Hot dogs and Juice for snack time
• The demonstration cup cakes serve as the birthday “cake” - no need to buy cake
  

  Older children will be shown how to make sugar flowers, younger children will be given sprinkles,cup cake toppers and jelly beans to decorate their cup cakes.

Cake decorating Parties - Age 6 and up

Package A - $320.00 for up to 8 children

$20.00 for each additional child to a maximum of 12 children

• Duration of party is 2 hours
• Each child receives their own 6″ cake to decorate.
• Choose your cake design from  package A - Cakes when booking this party.
• We offer a choice of Pizza or Hot dogs and Juice for snack time
• The demonstration cake serves as the Birthday cake - no need to order cake!!
• Choose from either chocolate or vanilla cake when booking the party. To keep everybody happy we ask that you choose one flavour for all the cakes.

Package B - $390.00 for up to 8 children

$25 for each addtional child to a maximum of 12 children

• Duration of party is 3 hours.
• Each child receives their own 6″ cake to decorate 8″ for the Pizza cake.
• Choose your cake design from  package B - Cakes when booking this party.
• We offer a choice of Pizza or Hot dogs and Juice for snack time. Please let us know if you would like to start with snack.
• The demonstration cake serves as the Birthday cake - no need to order cake!!
• Choose from either chocolate or vanilla cake when booking the party. To keep everybody happy we ask that you choose one flavour for all the cakes.
  
  

A piece of cake. This is a Package A cake. More developed fine motor skills are required to decorate this cake and therefore we reccomend that children are 9 years old and older.

Hamburger Cake. This is a Package B cake and suitable for children 9 years old and older. The cake is so much fun to make and looks like a real hamburger - good enough to eat.

Pizza Cake. This is a Package A cake and is suitable for all ages. Butter-cream and gum-paste is used to decorate this fun cake. Children make their toppings using different modelling tools and cutters.
