Cake decorating birthday party!!

The Birthday girl with her octopus cake. The kids and “Mom” had such a blast decorating their own cake. I demonstrated how to secure the cake to the board. Then we crumbcoated the cake. It was fabulous to see how each child added their own individual touches whilst icing their “rock”. Everyone chose their favourite colour to colour the fondant for their Octopus. I demonstrated how to make the head, legs, eyes and additional sea creatures. 3 Hours went by in a flash and the children left with their “Octopus cake treasures” and a huge smile on their face!!
Way to go young cake decorators!!

Jeanette did an amazing job at showing the girls how to make their own master creation in a very professional way yet very relaxed and fun atmosphere… the hard thing was to cut that beautiful cake, but then we realized how delicious it was!!! What a fantastic way to celebrate a birthday!… the girls are still talking about it and for me as a mom, one of the best things is that I had to nothing but enjoy it! Fantastic, Jeanette!
