Blue Phalaenopsis Orchid wedding cake

       

  Wedding cake decorated with buttercream and blue Phaleanopsis

  Ochids (aslo known as Moth Orchids).  I made the flowers from gum

  paste and airbrushed them with different shades of blue and green.

  The bride and groom found it very difficult to chose only one cake

  flavour. So we did two. Two tiers were made from chocolate cake and

  hazelnut buttercream.  The other is a vanilla cake with blackberry

   buttercream.
