Shortbread Cookies

 

 

My Lavender shortbread is probably one of my best sellers as they are just delicious and are also a bit different.   Some of my other shortbread flavours are Strawberry,  Cinnamon,  Hazelnut,  Caramel and Orange.  All the flavours are not available year round though.

One of the reasons my cakes and cookies are so good is because I use fresh butter and only natural flavour extracts and I never use preservatives in any of my products.   I do a lot of recipe development and I tweak my recipes until they are perfect - that is why my products don’t taste like anybody else’s. 

Shortbread lovers have told me that Walkers Shortbread was their favourite shortbread, but then I spoilt it for them.   My shortbread is light and crispy with a natural flavour.  The cookies are sprinkled with fine sugar to give it just the right sweetness.  Unlike other shortbread cookies my shortbread cookies are cut out into a shape to just the right thickness.   “The proof is in the Cookie after all”!!  They are beautifully packaged and are available in my shop at www.jeanettescakes.com/shop/
